Police communications

With the advices in technology of mobile telephones, police officers are being equipped with new radios, with there radios officers can direct and access crime record and also the database with the computer. and both the voice and the data signals.

Criminals- for everyday police work it is vital for the police officers to be able to access the information on there own criminals the information may include:

• a personal description
• details of the arrest
• the last well known address

Fingerprint base: fingerprints are found at the last scene of the crime and photograph also scanned into the computer. The natural AUTOMATED fingerprint systems, this is software where this is when the computer can compare fingerprints from others and this means that is it held in the database about the crime and what finger printer where there.

 

Privacy

Many people care concerned about the personal information help on computers, with wide are networks like the internet, data can be transmitted around the world in minutes. Many organisations hold data about individuals. for example government census data, income tax, pension companies, bank and buildings. 

    

Effects of ICT in society

Computers have an enormous impact on out lives. some people long for the ' good old bad days ' before computers, when the pace of life was slower and complicated. others are greatly attracted by the opportunities this new technology offers.

 

the internet, email, and the use of mobile phones have changed in a way which we communicate, The use of technology is beginning to resave the trend started during the industrial revolution when people move from the countryside, into the towns to find work. with modern  communications systems, people are now moving back to the country side to work from home.

impact of IT

This is some work I have done over a week ago.

The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is one of the skills that businesses look for in employees. The use of technology can be a great help to people in communicating, reducing the time it takes.  Also IT is good for documents that hold important information that may have caused research. The positive effects of IT is that you can use PowerPoint, Exl and many more for information if you would need to present it then you would have to use power point. Microsoft word is software that is used for information that could be used for course work.

 There are also negative effects of IT, the technology now day are so advanced they have everything on there if you need it. But also this can cause Cyberbullying from social networking. Also it is really bad if a child gets addicted to the technology, like internet and other things.  The other negative effect is that people can access your information if you don’t want there to know about it.
